Pottery Necklace

In this piece, the casting came first and the rest of the necklace was designed around the form and fluidness of that bronze object. I fell in love with the way that the cast leaf mimics the collarbone and tried to enhance that effect throughout the piece. The ceramic and glass shards that I have prong-set in this necklace were all found in the fields surrounding my parent’s home.
