War on Peace is a local starter band around Ball State campus. I heard them once at the annual BSU carnival and I loved their style. So when my professor instructed our class to recreate the cover of a favorite album, I jumped on the opportunity to express their unique flair. I looked to Art Nouveau for inspiration, while still staying true to their electronic beats with some custom pixelated typography. Coincidentally, when this type was added to the handkerchief, it gave off distinct needlepoint vibes. Just like my “BABE” campaign I had this hanky printed off by spoonflower.com. I then, personally, hemmed and crocheted around the edges.
